I'm sure most of you have heard about the gross violation to-be of our rights known as the Orphan Works bill. In fact, I'm sure most of you are sick of hearing about it, so I'm terribly sorry.

If you haven't, however, please take a look HERE for information and links to more information. It is a bit of a read but well worth your time if you're an artist of any sort.

The gist of it is that copyright laws will be far less effective and artists will lose rights to their own creations. Art theft will be much easier to commit and, in some cases, legal.

Here is deviantART's petition against Orphan Works if you'd like to sign it and haven't done so yet: [link]

I encourage you to pass this information on to anyone who doesn't have it yet.
